Who we are
Bradford Central Mosque, also known as Jamiyat Tabligh-ul-Islam (JTI) Mosque, is a landmark of faith, unity, and community service in Bradford. Established by early Pakistani settlers in 1962, it now serves as the headquarters of a network of over 20 mosques. Built using Yorkshire stone and featuring a hand-crafted dome, the mosque blends traditional Islamic design with local heritage.
Beyond daily prayers, it offers educational programmes, cultural events, and interfaith initiatives. Under the leadership of Shaykh Syed Ahsan Shah, the mosque continues to promote peace, social cohesion, and spiritual growth for all members of the community.
